Established in 2007, the USC Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE) is a research unit located within the USC College of Letters, Arts & Sciences. PERE conducts research and facilitates discussions on issues of environmental justice, regional inclusion, and immigrant integration. The unit collaborates with community organizations through both research and other activities. PERE seeks to develop a new model of how university and community can work together for the common good.
