Mission Statement: University of Southern California’s Net Impact Undergraduate chapter is part of a global network of students and professionals using business skills and resources to make a positive impact on society and the environment.
Description: Our chapter aims to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world. Over the course of the year, we will explore how the private sector interacts with such issues as sustainability, social responsibility, and international development through speakers, site visits, campus projects, and most importantly, hands-on experiences, perfect for the devoted do-good Trojan.
Current Eco-initiatives: Pilot V-board marker project (ongoing), battery recycling in residential areas (Spring 2012 project), Sustainability Awareness Campaign 2012 (for Earth Week)
Past Eco-Accomplishments: Pilot V-board markers implemented in all Marshall Facilities; Duplex printing in all Marshall facilities.
Eco-Goals for the Future: Petitioning for an Environmental Fund for student organizations to use
